For Non-Profits & Youth Programs

We have been helping thousands of groups get out and enjoy Lake Wingra for years, and we can’t wait to host you and your group. For tax-exempt programs and youth programs,  here are a couple of things to know before you go:

  • All participants must have a signed waiver; your booking confirmation has a waiver link that can be shared with participants. 
  • We require a MINIMUM of one adult/chaperone per 10 children on the water. We STRONGLY recommend one adult to every five children on the water for safety and support.  
  • All minors must wear PFDs when on the water.
  • Please arrive at least 30 minutes before your outing and check in with staff. 
  • Please know that due to weather, we may not be able to accommodate the watercraft reserved. However, we will do our best to provide alternate watercraft appropriate for the conditions.   

We want to help and offer free basic instruction on how to paddle and safety orientation for every group. We also want to accommodate your group’s particular needs, so please email us with any additional questions or concerns.

Cancellation Policy

Should you choose to cancel or change the date of your event, our policies are as follows:

  • More than 1 week before the event: re-book at no cost OR receive a 100% refund on event space, boat rental, and catering fees.

  • Within 1 week of the event: re-book at no cost with a 15% upcharge on catering fees OR receive an 80% refund on event space and boat rental fees with no refund on catering fees.

  • Less than 48 hours before the event: $50 re-booking fee with a 15% upcharge on catering fees, no refunds for a full cancellation.

 

Weather Cancellations

If your event needs to be cancelled or rescheduled due to weather conditions, we provide the following options:
