Madison Boats’ waterfront locations offer a one-of-a-kind setting for private parties and large group celebrations of all sizes. We offer flexible group accommodations, scenic lake views, and staff support from planning and set up, to boats and clean-up. From 20 to 500+ guests, we make hosting your next lakeside event both memorable and effortless.
Wingra Boats Event Space
Host Your Event at Wingra Boats
Wingra Boats is excited to host your gathering of 20 to 200 guests and help make your day on Lake Wingra truly memorable. Whether you’re planning a birthday party, graduation, corporate outing, nonprofit celebration, or family reunion, our lakeside setting offers a relaxed and scenic space to bring everyone together.
Our primary event space is comfortably accommodates three picnic tables, two service tables, and a grill station—perfect for food service, cake displays, or catered setups.
For larger gatherings of 50–100 guests, we expand your space by including the area to the West of the entrance path with six or more additional picnic tables and open space for games and activities.
Hosting more than 100 guests? Contact us to learn about our “Camp Area” setup, designed to accommodate up to 200+ guests with expanded seating and room for programming, games, and group activities.
Optional WINGRA Add-Ons to Elevate Your Event
Customize your experience with enhancements designed to make hosting easy and fun:
- On-site staff set up and clean up support $60 (request must be made 7 days in advance).
- On-Water Support. Two staff for two hours, including basic instruction and a guided paddle, based on the group’s needs. Please note that for unaccompanied groups of minors, we require at least 1 chaperone boat for every 5 boats. (Must arrange 2 weeks in advance by emailing wingra@madisonboats.com, limited availability and dates for on-water support) $250+
- Lawn games $25 (24-hour notice)
- Grill and utensil package $25 (24-hour notice)

Marshall Boats Event Space
Host Your Event at Marshall Boats
Marshall Boats’ rooftop boasts some of the most stunning views of Lake Mendota. This large 26×76’ roof top patio is the perfect place for your celebration. With seating for forty, a grill station, and a large area for games and activities, this multipurpose space has accommodated stunning weddings, dance parties and so many birthday parties.
For larger gatherings of over 50 people, with amplified sound or temporary structures, you will be required to book the Parks Pavillion in addition to the roof top patio. Please contact marshall@madisonboats.com with additional requests.

- Captained Pontoon Boat
- On-Water Support. Two staff for two hours, and will include basic instruction and guided paddle, based on the group’s needs.
- Please note that for unaccompanied groups of minors, we will require a minimum of 1 chaperone boat for every 5 boats. $250
- Lawn games $25 (24-hour notice)
- Grill and utensil package: $25 (24-hour notice)

Brittingham Boats is excited to host your gathering of 20 to 200 guests and help make your day on Lake Monona truly memorable. Whether you’re planning a birthday party, graduation, corporate outing, nonprofit celebration, or family reunion, our downtown lakeside setting offers a relaxed and scenic space to bring everyone together.
Our primary event space is centered around our 12’ x 12’ pavilion, three picnic tables, two service tables, and a designated grill station—perfect for food service, cake displays, or catered setups.
For larger gatherings, we are able to add additional tables and regularly coordinate event tents, tables, chairs and bouncy houses. Please contact brittingham@madisonboats.com with additional requests.

Wingra Boats Birthday Parties
New This Year! Celebrate your big day on the water at Wingra Boats! We’re building out birthday party packages including swim parties, paddle parties, fishing parties, and more add-ons. We’re actively developing these offerings — reach out with any questions or to get on our radar early!
Private Signature Events
Looking for an amazing event for your organization or group and love our events? Our Private Signature Events are fully customized experiences — ideal for groups of 100+ seeking something truly one-of-a-kind. Make our Signature Events one of your own!

We have helped host stunning weddings, packer viewing parties, film screenings, and a floating fitness station for Reebok. Tell us what you’re envisioning, and let’s make it happen.
Cancellation Policy
Should you choose to cancel or change the date of your event, our policies are as follows:
- More than 1 week before the event: re-book at no cost OR receive a 100% refund on event space, boat rental, and catering fees.
- Within 1 week of the event: re-book at no cost with a 15% upcharge on catering fees OR receive an 80% refund on event space and boat rental fees with no refund on catering fees.
- Less than 48 hours before the event: $50 re-booking fee with a 15% upcharge on catering fees, no refunds for a full cancellation.
Weather Cancellations
If your event needs to be cancelled or rescheduled due to weather conditions, we provide the following options:
- More than 1 week before the event: re-book at no cost OR receive a 100% refund on event space, boat rental, and catering fees.
- Within 1 week of the event: re-book at no cost with a 15% upcharge on catering fees OR receive an 80% refund on event space and boat rental fees with no refund on catering fees.
